Way to Early Predictions

With the 2016 Indycar season finally here it is time for some way to early predictions. Predistions that are so early they are bound to not come true or we have superpowers. We shall see.

The winner of the St. Petersburg race will be Will Power.

An easy pick with Will being arguably one of the best road course drivers and being the fastest all week. It is an easy decision to pick him to win at The Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

Indianapolis 500 Pole winner will be Scott Dixon.

The last years Indianapolis 500 Pole winner will do just that and win it again this year. Almost breaking Arie Luyendyk speed record but falling just short.

The winner of the Indianapolis 500 will be Ed Carpenter.

Ed Carpenter has never won the Indianapolis 500 mile race and I figure having an Indiana native win the 100th running would be a story book ending to the 100th Indianapolis 500. It will most likely be also a really close finish with carpenter winning by a nose.

The Indycar Series Champion will be Josef Newgarden.

After a strong run last year Josef Newgarden will quietly and win the Verizon Indycar Series Championship.  Newgarden will win a few races and compete in almost every race. His strong runs will earn him his first Indycar Series Championship.

This is what we believe we will see during the year. But we know this year will be action packed, shocking, amazing and historic year.

Update: already my way too soon predictions seemed to be wrong. My easy choice Will Power is out for the St. Petersburg race with an illness. … the rest of my predictions will come true.
