James Hinnchcliffe Wins at Long Beach

After a long day of Wrecks and heartbreak James Hinchliffe the mayor of Hinchtown win at Long Beach. The race started with Helio leading the field to the green but penalties on pit road hurt Helio chances. Helio finished in 9th.

It was a rough day for Team Andretti Autosports who all four of their cars were fast at Long Beach but all four ended up not finishing the race. The Andretti drivers that it hurt the most was Alexander Rossi and Ryan Hunter-Reay who both had a great chance to win the race but ended up losing the race due to engine issues (Rossi) and electrical issues for RHR.

The win four Hinch was his First of the season and fifth of his career almost two years to the date when he won his last race at the Grand Prix of New Orleans. It is the first win of the season for SPM race team.

 

Winner of Long Beach:

James Hinchliffe:

First win of the season second in points. Not too bad for Hinch. Indy is coming up where he had a strong run as well. Look for James Hinchiliffe to make a run at the win at Indianapolis.

Sebastien Bourdais:

Finished second in the race at Long Beach and is first in points and a 19 point lead over Hinch. The Dale Coyne driver has a strong start of the season. Look for Bourdais to continue his strong run.

Andretti Autosports just need to forget Long Beach and focus on Barber.
